Benefits:
This movement increases flexibility in the spine and removes strain from the neck and shoulders. The lungs and ribcage are stretched, helping to increase lung capacity and the legs and buttocks are toned.
Contraindications:
Avoid this movement if you suffer from a neck injury unless you are practicing under the supervision of an experienced teacher.
